Coding for kids, from blocks to Python

Children learn by doing: each lesson explains one idea, shows it working, then lets them write and run real code in the browser.

  • ✓ Nothing to install
  • ✓ Works in the browser
  • ✓ No coding experience needed

Learn on virtual benches

Real experiments with virtual kit. Nothing to buy, nothing to break.

  • Block coding

Snap blocks together to see how a program thinks.

  • Python

Write real text code and run it in the browser.

  • Robotics

Drive a virtual robot and read its sensors.

  • Electronics

Build circuits with virtual parts, nothing to break.

  • Web development

Make a web page and see it change as you type.

Questions people ask

Can a child start with no coding experience?

Yes. Each lesson starts with one clear idea, shows it working, then lets the learner write and run code and check their own answer, so no experience is needed.

Which programming languages do children learn?

Block coding first, then Python. Learners also meet HTML for the web and MicroPython for the robot bench.

Does it teach coding?

Yes. Learners write and run real code in the browser, with block coding and Python plus robotics, electronics and web benches. There is nothing to install and nothing to buy.

Which classes is it for?

JSS 1 to SS 3. Units are published a few at a time, and the curriculum section shows which are live and which are still in production.

Do I need an account to try a lesson?

No. Live lessons open without an account, and progress is saved on the device until you sign in. Some extended enrichment units may sit behind a plan.
